I was so honored to be invited by Florists’ Review to create a tutorial for their November 2025 feature highlighting Korean American floral designers.
For this piece, I followed a concept I’ve always dreamed of exploring—incorporating unexpected natural elements simply because they fill my heart. This design, Fungi Fusion, features oyster mushrooms I found at the Lake Oswego Farmers Market. When sunlight streamed into the studio, the light transformed everything—the arrangement, the textures, even the photography itself—into something different from my usual style but learning to embrace!
