I knew that this year was my 5th year of running this business, but the exact anniversary date had not dawned upon me until my Dad texted me to congratulate me! Love you Dad!!!
November 2nd, 2018, that is when I opened the doors to the world to present my art and to write a new chapter in my life!!! I got the keys to my studio in October. The thrill of getting those keys!! It all happened so fast and is really a blurry set of memories for me. But taking actions on pursuing my dreams changed my life completely, I can truly divide my work life into years before 2018 and after!
I still remember walking into an empty work space, unsure and uncertain of what the future will be but also feeling very brave! Because I did not know any better!! So I got a table and scissors and I was ready to face the world!
Today, I celebrate all humble beginnings, the baby steps towards making dreams a reality, the courageous heart that just went for it! It took a leap of faith, but through the grace of God, and incredible love and support from my family, friends and customers, I had survived. And then started to thrive and has been growing every year! And the last 5 years were such fulfilling, joyous 5 years! I am so grateful for everything this flower journey has taught me and turned my eyes to. I see more beauty everyday and I am so excited where this flower journey is going to take me next! I am so truly happy I get to share my joy with the world! Happy 5th Anniversary, Kawa Flowers!!!
